Who is responsible for your data
Frank, operating under Analyst ICT, is responsible for the processing of data through woodapplez.com. Questions about this privacy policy can be sent to frank@analystict.nl.
What data is collected
There is no user registration and no contact form on this site. Comments on articles are disabled. No data is therefore collected through forms, with the exception of the newsletter sign-up form on the homepage. This feature is not yet connected to a mailing service, so nothing currently happens with any information entered there.
Technical data is automatically collected through Google Analytics 4 (see below), and through loading an avatar image next to the author’s name (via Gravatar).
Google Analytics 4
WoodApplez uses Google Analytics 4, managed through the Google Site Kit plugin, to measure website statistics such as visitor numbers, page views, and traffic sources. These statistics are not recorded for visitors who are logged in to the website. There is no connection to Google Ads.
Depending on configuration, Google may process this data outside the European Economic Area. See Google’s own privacy policy for more information.
Gravatar
Every article displays a profile photo of the author through the Gravatar service (by Automattic). Loading a page automatically sends a request to Gravatar’s servers for this purpose.
Cookies

Retention period
Analytics data is retained for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected for, up to the retention period configured in Google Analytics.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, and the right to object to its processing. Contact frank@analystict.nl for this. You also have the right to file a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.
Changes
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
